HOW IT WORKS
From job site to payroll, automatically.
Set up your sites and crew once. From then on, ClockPlanet's
geofences do the clocking in and out for you.
1. Add your job sites
Draw a geofence around each job site on the map - a name, an
address, and a radius is all it takes. Every site you add becomes
available to assign to any employee.
2. Invite your crew
Add each worker's name and email and ClockPlanet emails them an
install link. Once they accept, assign them to a job site and choose
their tracking mode - scheduled or unscheduled.
3. Arrive, and they're clocked in
Scheduled crews
Tracking runs continuously against their assigned site, so a
geofence entry or exit is logged the instant it happens - including
any unplanned site change or early/late arrival.
Unscheduled crews
Location reporting switches on 15 minutes before their scheduled
start and off after clock-out, so the phone only tracks during
work hours.
4. Review, approve, export
Every geofence entry and exit becomes a timesheet entry
automatically. Review the week, add or correct the odd exception by
hand, approve the hours, then export straight to whatever payroll
system you already use.
